BB30a-24 Ceramic Bottom Bracket

BB30a-24 ceramic bottom bracket converts Cannondale BB30a 73mm-width frame to accept Shimano 24mm cranks.

Cannondale's new BB30a standard was released in 2016. The BB30a is similar to the BB30 standard, but the frame BB shell is 5mm wider on the non-drive side to make the total width from 68mm to 73mm.

This conversion bottom bracket is an integrated unit to allow a Shimano/FSA 24mm crankset to run on a Cannondale BB30a frame without any additional adapters or spacers.

With the Grade 3 Si3N4 ceramic balls (8 times rounder and 4 times smoother than steel), spinning on the hardened ABEC 7 races, AITA's ceramic bearings run much smoother than most of the bearings on the market and only consume 20% of the power compared with steel bearings, plus the bearings will last 3-5 times longer.

The uniquely designed dust cover improves the durability of the bottom bracket compared with Shimano's traditional design.
